Austrolorp? Pullet?

The barred rock is a cockrel. ☺ sweet boy too. He crows and has very definitively pointed saddle feathers and sickle feathers. Thank you for helping :)
 
Just an update on this, he's male. Good news is so far no fights between him and the barred rock cockrel he was a chick with. And pics for confirmation. Other good thing is he's still docile and lets us handle him if needed

I wouldn't get in the habit of feeding him by hand, or the other one either. They need to have a healthy respect for humans, dogs... whatever you have wandering around. If they don't have that respect they tend towards aggression. There are exemptions, but as a generalization this is the case.
