Austrolorp? Pullet?

looks like an australorp pullet, at 5 months if that was a rooster it would by crowing already and have all the roo feathers. australorp roos develop much faster then hens from my limited experience. heres some photos if any are of bad quality i apologize.

first one is a pic of larry curly and moe my 3 australorps when they were in the brooder larry the roo is in the back comb developed very early (white one is a cochin)

as you can see the males develop much quicker and have very dominant traits that stick out like a sore thumb XD

oh and btw australorps are known to be excellent layers so you'll be happy when she starts laying :) beautiful big brown eggs, i believe the record for australorps is 364 eggs in 1 year, this was done by the creators of the breed which they bred these beautiful birds with the intent purpose of breaking world laying records and to be a good meat bird. good birds imho

Male Black Jersey Giant is my guess. Yellow feet are an indicator of Jersey Giant.

We got 2 unsexed BJG chicks in Feb. turns out 1 male, 1 female. The female had a completely black comb until just before laying at approx 26 weeks. Just FYI, they are very docile. Our male is enormous, but docile. Also, he only crows a few times a day, not much and it is a deeper kind of crow, so we can always tell it’s him rather than our Black Australorp cockerel.

I think it looks like a australorp but it could be a jersey giant and it is definitely a cockerel.
