I bought the same door and it is the bomb. I wanted it so I get to sleep in if 7:30 with all the indoor pets waking me up is sleeping in;> But at least I don't have to jump up;> And at night becuse I get home after dark through the winter months and I was afraid of preditors getting my girls. Now they are safe and I still say good night and do a head count. I have electric in the sleep coop so I have had no problems. You can see my set up on my page. You will love it. Good luck.

Can you make it just open in the morning? I don't have a problem with shutting the door at night when I feed all the animals but I feel like they'd like me to let them out earlier then I want to.....

When I did my research on the different parrots and charateristics these Caique were said to be clowns and they were right. Sysco is crazy crazy and a riot to have. I have had her 6 years now. Got her at 4 months old. She travels with me and goes to work with me. I work with special needs kids and they love to have her in the room. She got me started with the bird thing...at least I am blamming her. LOL

Yes..I have eclectuses, Quakers, cockatiels and then I had kiwi my caique

His band actually broke into his skin..his legg swelled..had to have surgery..and then two days later..just passed away..it was so sad

I love birds..it should be no surprise to my dh that we now have chickens..but I can say this..he is not into at all..lmao

He is trying to teach the parrots to say... We don't like chickens..not funny to me at all..and if my one parrot starts saying it ..I swear iam going to loose it.. My dh just likes torturing me..hasn't helped me at all with the chickens..and the other day, he got home from work and had the littles out from the foyer and outside for a little while and what do u know it ..they begin following him all around the yard..like he was momma hen

It was a riot..and he was running from them..they would run faster after him, he sits down on the swing and they all leap up into his lap

I died laughing and said to him, how can u not love em? He did his grunt thing

They will turn him soon..lol, change his negative attitude..watch and see

Oh and it's true, he's like dr, Doolittle..every single animal, mean or nice gravitates to him..he's like the grumpiest man to them and they all change his way of thinking,lol
