I am a newbie to this site and I have searched and could not find my answer so here is my question! I put an auto turner in a cabinet inc. I built and when I plugged in turner it ran continuous. What kind do I need that is timed?

Is your turner one made for styrofoam incubators? If so, then they are supposed to run continuously. They make 1 revolution in about 4 hours.

This one runs continuously back and forth. It is out of a China eggubator

Not familiar with that brand. How fast is it turning? I'm guessing from your post that you can actually see it moving? How long does it take to tilt from one side to the other?

You could try a cheap plug in timer for christmas lights. I think the shortest time setting on them are 15 minutes though.

If that's not possible, look at Incubator Warehouse. They have the slow rotation motors for sale. Or, just get a Hovabator egg turner if it will fit in your build.

it goes from right to left and left to right every 3 to 4 seconds. I ordered a 1610 from gqf today

I guess they turn eggs differently in China.
