Auto turners that keep eggs upright?

I'm yet another person shopping for my first incubator. I want to get some shipped eggs, but I'm wary of naked styrofoam. Looking at Incuview, Brinsea Ovation 28 or Maxi 14, Nurture Right 360 (seems like people either love or hate that one).... Not sure I can justify the cost of Brinsea, and I think all of these auto turners keep the eggs horizontal, but I'm not positive. Are there any modifications or after-market turners that would work, or am I mistaken about any of these? Thanks!

Will these be your first batch of eggs to ever incubate? I personally would get some cheap local ones to do a test run that way you don’t make novice mistakes on eggs that you paid top dollar for. But you can try out whatever you’d like of course.

I’ve used a Little Giant that had an egg turner that kept the eggs upright. I liked it til it ate poo less than a year after I bought it.

I now have a Nurture Right 360 and got 100% hatch rate. So I love it. But have only used it once.

This will be my first incubator use, but hysop hit on my exact plan. Shipped eggs that I can't find locally are my motivator, but I do intend do do a test run first. Thanks for the replies so far!

Doesn't matter which bator you get... don;t do shipped eggs for your first hatch experience... Shipped eggs suck! Make sure you shipper is NPIP ans shipping legally to protect us all instead of under the radar. PLEASE.

I would get the nurture rite 360 for the value and read the tips from folks who rated it highly.

I actually love my styrofoam bators and get great hatches... but my pig also like eating styrofoam and took a bite out of it once.

I got better hatches when horizontal than upright... despite having an upright turner in my Genesis 1588... considered swapping to horizontal.

Good luck and happy hatching adventures! :jumpy :jumpy
