Was feeling pretty good about it until I went to post them and the counter staff looked through them ...I have managed to autograph upside down as the print fabric runs.. so I'm pulling the southern hemisphere card out , we're Naturally upside down here.

Sigh.

I'm sure everyone's blocks are just lovely, you ladies worry too much I have never seen a bad block

I received a set and I peeked and the blocks are wow so beautiful but I can't for the life of me remember who they are from and I"m not at home to run and check so crazy writings to crazy people it's all good just adds to the romance of the quilt.

I'm putting mine in the mail today. Sorry for the delay. These went together pretty fast but the signing part hung me up. I'm making a few extra stars to go with my red, white and blue blocks. I think it will a fun combination!I'm going with the reverse coloring. The star will be white and the background will be the color. I think the stars will realy pop in the quilt!

I really enjoyed the r/w/b once I got over my fear of matching seams!
The autograph block also was a step up.. i normally just make stuff up so thank goodness for you tube.
I cant wait to see the fabrics you all chose.
After wrestling with that much too fine pen for the autograph I ordered a bunch of differant pens for a life drawing class...and one turned out to be the same brand but a decent size nib! Isnt that typical! Its good me thinking about drawing on fabric and creating prints from the girls drawings too.

Oo, and I saw a neat idea in a book. Fabric self portraits! How fun would that be ?!
