I love your sample block. It looks like you put the white over the color did you? I might steal your idea, but I think a paisley red with white would contrast nicely what do you think?

No, I used a white fabric , well we call them white on white here because there is a tiny white pattern printed on it, and a patterned fabric which is blues and beiges. It's quite a big pattern but I think it looks ok cut into bits. It better because I've cut out the rest of the blocks.

Majack I love you block, that fabric looks to be art nouveau, one of my favorites.
I'm afraid I didn't make mine with white, I tried to but it just would not work out.
I wanted fabrics that would say me along with my signature, now I'm worried.

what ever you have chosen is just going to be wonderful, my choice is not in stone yet that is just a thought I may see something else when it come time to make the block, so don't worry

we do need to find 4 more people, I'll see what I can do. I see the white on white now and I really like the work of your block, I'm looking forward to this one but first have to finish the r/w/b
