So here they are. Just swapped out the boxes and the string was able to fit perfectly on the spool.
Sorry no pics of that as it’s a bit of a chore “putting that box together with the string and the rubber seal that I had to “cut to length “ as well as screw it into the wall… sorry.
Both locations functioning properly.
Currently only running on the batteries they came with… cute note. The battery skin has the company logo & name on the too!
I was able to findout that they have a proprietary usb cord for running off an outlet with an adapter to drop down from 110VAC to ~6-9VDC and between 1-2Amps.
They have a warning in several places “do not try to use a 9VDC battery with the connector that’s used for the AAA cube. It will fry the board & motor…
So for ~$30 I got two usb cords shipped to me…. Will adapt them this fall when it cools off.
