I just ordered a new shed that will be converted into a coop for my chickens, turkeys, and geese. I am wanting to put in an automatic door. Most of the ones that I have looked at have smaller doors. My turkeys and geese do not use the small chicken doors in the coop that I have now. Does anyone have any suggestions for a automatic door that is goose friendly? I do not have electricity in my coop at this time so it would need to battery operated. I have looked through lots of posts on here about the doors but have not seen anyone talking about their larger fowl using them. A lot of the posts are several years old so I also wanted some updated information.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for any suggestions.
Wish I could help ya, but we just have a goose size pop door on our goose house.

The auto-door on my coop is a larger one; I use the one sold by Foy's Poultry Supplies and it uses regular AA batteries. My Toulouse geese and Tom turkey can all use it. The geese just duck their heads to do through the opening.

Thanks. That is one that I have been looking at. Before I spent the money I was just wanting some advice.
