Automatic doors go off after outage? Need electrical advice.

We have two "automatic" doors for our coop. Thing is, they aren't automatic. The timers work, but I always unplug them at night b/c if the power goes off or surges the doors will automatically cycle. I don't want to wake up to see something got into the coop because lightning shut off the power for 2 seconds.
Just curious if anyone has had a similar issue / solution. Like something that works like a breaker that shuts off when the power goes off and needs to be manually reset to prevent this from happening?

Mine operates on a lantern battery for about a year .... $3 bucks most anywhere.

Opens at dawn and closes about 30 minutes after it detects dusk.

A battery backup like you would use for a computer would keep it from cycling on if there is a short interruption in power.

I use one because my instant hot water heater needs to be reset if the power goes out, I use another one for the internet modem so there is no disruption before the backup generator kicks in.
