I bought mine at Foy's as well and had no problems. I ordered the inside install with light sensor and the door. We do not have electricity to our coop, and this one operates off of batteries. It's been almost a year and still haven't replaced the batteries. The door opens at about 6:00 right now and closes about 1/2 hour after sunset. It was worth every penny.
