Automatic turning, coming up on lockdown and need clarification please

HI,

We are doing this for the 1st time and coming up on our lock down time. We are using an automatic egg turner and I need some help. I can't find it in the directions, do we take the eggs out of the automatic turner and place them on the screen floor in the "bator"? Or should I put some other type of floor in the bator for the last 3 days? Sorry if this is a dumb questions but I have 16 eggs going and don't want me doing something stupid to effect them now.

Yes, you take them out of the turner so they don't get caught in it. Lay them on the screen.

When I take out the turner I put down a piece of rubberized shelf liner over the wire. It gives the chicks something non skid to learn to walk on and is easy to either clean or toss when the hatch is finished.
