Looking at ordering tomorrow. But first, how is it working for your flock, please?

Thank you.

I have one and I love it. I just bought the nipples from Amazon and then a bucket. It was easy to put together. The chickens figured it out real quick and I don’t have to fill it all the time. And it keeps everything that much cleaner.

I'm ashamed to say, but I don't wanna ask Farmer Anthony for anything else re. my chickens for now. He STILL has to finish the coop. In his defense "I" am the one who ran out of money; awaiting payday on Saturday and I will order the last of what is needed to complete the coop.

So, I'll just buy the 2 gall one I am seeing on eBay for now. :D

ETA: I wouldn't mind it having more nipples like yours. Perhaps the next one I wind up buying.

how much is the one on eBay?

This is the ones I got. They do have cheaper ones…https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B098P79C24?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I do hear you about the money thing. My husband and I are at a stand still on the duck coop for now. We have used everything we have had laying around between the chicken coop and where we are with the duck coop. However we really just need screws and fencing. I went to an auction today and my mom and I both heard screws. And it’s a typical auction we go to. But nope, it was nails. But at least I only spent $8 on it. It will still work though. Just faster with the screws. And the fencing we know we can get 150ft roll for $80. But we have had to put a little over $900 in property taxes. Which isn’t bad but there has been several things pop up we were expecting. Oh well, so goes life.

i have the one from Rent-a-Coop. It is great. In the winter I stand it in a heated base so they always have water that isn’t frozen.
I also have regular gravity waterers which they use but everyone uses the horizontal nipple one before going to bed and first thing in the morning.

We just made one out of an old Gatorade cooler and two nipples from Revolutionary Chicken. So far I’m NOT impressed. The nipple contraption which claimed it fits most coolers was too long and we had trouble tightening the washers so we just blobbed tons of silicone around them. Not sure how long that will last.
To top that off when we filled it two days later and introduced it to the chicks, they just don’t get it. They peck where I show them the tiny drop of water in the microscopic trough which I flicked to fill, but on their own pecking the trough stays dry. The metal piece let’s water out of it’s pushed all the way left or right but that is t how they peck at it. 😒 meanwhile my cooler has holes now.

FYI the Revolutionary feeder works well but the container they sent is so thin and cheap. Can’t see it lasting through a winter with our freezes. We were def ripped off on these items.
