Automatic waterers

Just curious if any of you have used these automatic chicken waterers with quail before and whether you had any luck with them using it? I'm trying to decide on a new automatic watering system to switch over to and picked up a few of these for cheap.

My guess would be, yes they will use these as I have taught mine to use everything from bowls to hamster bottle waterers. They are pretty smart.

I use them too, but only adult quails can drink from cups, for baby one you must need to buy waterer nipples or waterer bottles like this one

I ended up doing it anyways a couple days ago, and my mountain quail picked up how to use them almost immediately; I'd say they were good to go within 5 min.

As for the chicks, I have no desire for them to be on an automatic waterer. They have been and will continue to drink from the small quail waterers.
