My chickens do not have the bird flu. My sister at NCSU has a biology lab that is about the Avian Bird Flu. She has a few questions, and she had to come for someone for help, and of course she came to me since I have chickens. I have no experience with this, but I was wondering if any of you all did. 1: How do I prevent my chickens from getting the avian bird flu?
2: How do I treat my chickens if they get the avian bird flu? Is it safe to eat the chicken meat or eggs when they have the avian bird flu or while on medication for it?
