Average laying age for Ameraucana mixes (Easter Eggers?)

Two weeks later, and still NADA. I blame the weather (it dropped in temperature just as I thought they were getting close) and the lack of sunlight
Cold won’t affect laying, but shorter daylight hours absolutely will. My younger EE is 22 weeks now and reddening up, but still no serious signs (squatting, playing house in the nest boxes, etc.)

Cloudy days have an effect too. But I too have store bought EE, hatched in May…nada for eggs so far. If none in the next two weeks, I am pretty sure they won’t start until Jan/Feb.

However, the last time I had birds that waited, they laid solid through the next winter, so there is that.

And after many weeks of speculation we got our first eggs! So excited that we bred our first colored egg layer! I love this seafoamy green!

Not sure which hen is the culprit, one egg is from yesterday that was hiding in the corner and then another one from this morning since it was warm when I grabbed it.
