I don't have the benefit of having someone here to help me process my poultry, so I typically only process one or two chickens at a time; typically the bird with the bad attitude is the one that I invite FOR dinner. I don't mind feeding the cockerels a quarter-pound of feed each, daily, until I'm ready to process, unless they're causing problems. Troublemakers aren't welcome here. If you find it too taxing on you to process them all on the same day, consider spreading the task out over several days or weeks.
