Avian Encephalomyelitis!

Hi guys, new here but experienced chicken daddy!
We keep two flocks, one mixed and another of Brahmas.

We have a chick, 4 weeks, currently a week into encephalomyelitis.
My question is simple - anyone who has had a chick go through this (and she's a real fighter) - what sort of timeline was involved.

Obviously recovery, if achieved, takes a while, but no resource I can find suggests how long.

Sorry about your chick. What are the symptoms? I have never seen it, only have read about the disease. Cataracts and decreased laying are long term symptoms in survivors. It will spread to others and through hatching eggs. There is a vaccine available. Here is a good article about it:

Key symptoms (in order of appearance) have been:

Ataxia
Partial Paralysis (now subsided)
Tremors
Loss of appetite (or perhaps ability to focus on food - hard to be sure)
As I say she's doing well and everything points to her battling through the worst. Just no idea how long it may take.
