Avian influenza found in South Carolina

New report today says it has been found in a backyard flock in Wyoming - apparently Wyoming is in both the central flyway and the pacific flyway, depending on the part of the state, not sure which this detection is in but eek! Also, thanks to everyone here who is posting, I've been following along and I appreciate all the posts.

Okay, googled it, and Johnson County is the Central Flyway. But I am going to expand my covered run this weekend for sure!

No worries. I can see the confusion on the above post saying Johnson. I edited my post to include NC.

First case in domestic poultry in Ohio was confirmed today.

Ironic that this case was confirmed on the same day I get a letter from my npip tester saying there are no cases in Ohio, but to think about having a secondary flock somewhere just in case.

just saw this, I’m def panicking. Luckily I’m southern and aside from the Columbus and northern flocks, we’re okay. Totally freaking out,
