Aviary help

So i have been wondering for a long time what are the aviary basics, whats best for a large aviary?

What type of metal wire is small enough that mandarins and call ducks cant get out.

What netting needs to be used for the top of the aviary and how do you attach this. Also which flight netting stuff is the strongest

For wire I doubled up on the bottom wire that was chicken wire with 1 in wholes then gauged wire over top if that was 2x4 inch holes, above that I put chicken wire again. Depending on the duck you are getting some can get through 2 in holes, Atleast that's what I heard from a few people.

It works great and all I needed was a few people to help, we took the ends and the middle, tied a rope to it with weight on the end of the rope and threw it over to the other side. Then we just pulled it over, but you have to go slow and make sure it doesn't catch on anything.
For a small aviary I would say to put river gravel then sand down in the floor to get rid of all the mud and everything drains through but if you are making a big avairy I don't think you have to worry about that as much. How big do you want to make it?
