I can try. The thing is all I have is my phone and by the time I get things off of it it changes things and what looks clear on my tiny screen gets so distorted. I'll they to catch Lowrider when I'm out back in a while. ooohhhh !!!!!!!!!Although I may still have one that shows up better, still on my phone. I'll have to get them off of there and we'll see.

Darn. When he was thought to be a pullet he was great. Don't know about being a cockerel and being any good, but I was hoping.

OK i went back and looked at the parent birds and also pm'd the breeder. Wish I had looked at the pics of mom again before I though I needed to do this, but I'll know for sure when she sees these pics.

Cockeral, the darker buff on the neck and wings are a dead giveaway.

Its a hen- are you sure its her crowing?

here is a photo of a 3 month pair of mottle japs-

the males get a huge comb and wattles at a very early age.

Looks like a cockerel. Im pretty sure I can see pointy saddles and hackle feathers.

OK everyone meepitqueenie is her breeder. I was second guessin mine because someone who has never seen a Jap, but has raised birds for decades told me she looked like a roo. Trust me, meepitqueenie knows this breed. I should have just thought send her a pic, but I didn't even think of it.

Pic #2 is her mommy and pic #3 is her daddy. Notice the ribbons???? Nice blue one's too.

By the way I love this bird so much I now have a black mottled pair.
