Awaiting arrival-glad I found BYC

Today is day 21 for my first batch of 8 eggs in the incubator that I got from my father-in-law. In the same incubator, I have 16 eggs (on day #18) that I got from Crazy K Farms. I am brand new to chickens and feel like I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for something/anything to happen. I am a labor & delivery nurse, so I am used to playing a much more active role in helping babies come into the world! I live in a sub-division in Georgia with my 4 kids, 3 dogs, 2 horses and 1 husband. I am grateful for all of the info that I have recieved so far from this site! I'll keep y'all posted on our progress.
