Awaiting chicks

Awaiting my chick shipment. Today is the hatch day from Meyers hatchery! We made this dresser into a brooder for the little ladies!

That is so cool! How many are you expecting? What breeds? My first ever chicks will be arriving from the June 6 Meyer Hatch - 3 bantam girls. I absolutely can't wait, and am so happy to have BYC to help distract me from my own impatience — and learn about what to expect.

-frizzle easter egger
-green queen
-cookies & cream
-blue cochin
