Award not showing in profile

This week I was thrilled to learn I am the recipient of a Spirit award. Unfortunately, it is not showing up in my profile most of the time. About one time in 20 that I submit a new post, it will be there, and then I will reply to another post and its gone again and I don't see it for a day or two. I discussed this briefly with Flockwatcher, who suggested I post a thread in the Forum Feedback section as there may be a glitch of some kind.....

I haven't seen my award in 8 months!

I'm new here...but figured it couldn't *hurt* anything to post anyway! =)

Did you click on "My Profile" tab and then click "Edit Account Details" in the upper right hand corner, and then scroll all the way down to the bottom and make sure there is no checkmark inside the box in front of "Hide User Awards" under the Forum Preferences subheading?

Wow, thank you! I was pretty sure that wasn't it, since the award shows in my profile one in awhile but I checked and that box was checked. I have unchecked it and now the award is showing. I didn't even know that was an option to be checked or unchecked - thank you so much for your input!
