Awesome story about police and my chickens

My doorbell rang earlier today and there was a police officer standing on my doorstep. He informed me that he had been sitting down the road running the radar and as he was leaving, he saw a stray German Shepherd running down the road. He was concerned that my chickens may be in danger from a loose dog and wanted to warn me. He commented on the size of my chickens, especially my big Black Orp rooster, about three times before leaving. I thought it was really cool that he would take the time to warn me about a stray dog. The dog apparently took a side road and left the area because he never did end up coming onto my place.

That was nice of him to warn you. I doubt very many would take the time to do that.

Sounds like a good person, I'm glad of good stores when they happen. He's like our Deputy that called me at school when he saw someone trying to steal Nugget out of my yard and stopped them.
