Awkward question about rabbits

Well um this is kinda awkward but I need the question answered. Well I got a female rabbit for my 3 year old male than has never seen another rabbit sense he was young, let alone a female. Let's just say he dose his thing every few days. I have a few people that want a few bunnys. Anyways when I'm in the coop with the chickens I sometimes see them and I noticed he is humping her on her back. Like he dosent know where to put it. He ends up leting his genes go on her back. WhAt can I do to correct this?? I want baby bunnies and I cant with him doing this. He's kinda chunky could this be the issue?

His weight could be a factor. I don't think you can really teach him what to do. He either gets it or he doesn't.
Might read up on artificial insemination for rabbits. Don't know if you can do that or not, but I'm guessing you can.

You may want to consider separating them. Reintroduce him in a few days. If he is successful he will make a little grunt/squeal and literally fall off her. He only needs to do that one - three times for her to take AND its important that this is all within 12-24 hrs. Otherwise the babies will be different ages and may not survive or cause complications.

If you breed her multiple times over a span of weeks, she will likely lose the litter or have some young but lose the rest at a later date.

How can I get him to lose weight? And I'll try seperaring them, but how can they have differnt age Babies?

It also could be happening if she isn't setting up for him...is she kinda stretched out with her butt and tail up when he is doing it? Or is she hunched over with her back arched?

Your Buck is plenty old enough......... how old is your Doe? She may not be ready otherwise they will be fine. He knows what to do Rabbits have been doing that for thousands of years and there's no shortage of Rabbits.

that means she doesnt want it as bad as he does she will tho she controls most of it
