My seb gander used to be my buddy. He would follow me around everywhere..and make his baby goose sounds to call me, and come sit in my lap... he was a real mommas boy.
Then suddenly, one day this fall or winter he started to attack me...

I will take a pic tom. and post it so you can see..The mastiff and goose and the sebbie and my cow.

I miss those baby noises!! I should have some goslings hatching by next week and I can't wait. My Prince Peter used to follow me around making that baby noise that melted my heart. Lately he only hisses at me if I get to close to him or his mate. LOL

I'll be glad when breeding season's over and my geese become lovable again.

Sw! I love the baby goose sounds. Chowder does it when both girls are on the nest. Panini is ms. broody-pants and stays on her nest all day. Wheezie just gets on the nest for a bit and lays, then gets up. But when both girls are sitting, he wanders around lost. He makes the little baby noises and if I go outside, comes running over for comfort.

Then the minute Wheezie is off her nest, he's the big, bad gander again.

Boys!

At least he's in love with other geese, though. Can't imagine them in love with a cow!
