Hi there!

So, are you saying that you have a hen that sat on a nest of fake eggs for a day, then roosted at night, and did not go back to laying on them the next day?

How old is she? Is she laying? She may be testing being broody out. I wouldn’t put any eggs under her until she’s staying on the nest atleast 3-4 days. She will take occasional breaks, but she will always return to the nest if she’s committed.
