Hello All! I’m new here. Thankful for the community! Not sure I’m posting in the right category. I have an Ayam Cemani “hen” who is now about 2.5-3 months old and I’m starting to wonder if she may be a he. Everything I’ve seen of the roosters show longer tail feathers than the hens, and this morning she *might* have crowed? It was a little bit longer caw, not a cluck. I really hope I don’t have to give “her” up, as I’m not allowed to have roosters in my town. Any help or insights are greatly appreciated!

That’s what I feared. Any way to tell for sure aside from keeping “her/him” until they’re full grown? How soon do I need to rehome him before I start cracking eggs with baby chickens inside instead of yolks! Yikes :(
