Ayam Cemani- hen or rooster?

Hello All! I’m new here. Thankful for the community! Not sure I’m posting in the right category. I have an Ayam Cemani “hen” who is now about 2.5-3 months old and I’m starting to wonder if she may be a he. Everything I’ve seen of the roosters show longer tail feathers than the hens, and this morning she *might* have crowed? It was a little bit longer caw, not a cluck. I really hope I don’t have to give “her” up, as I’m not allowed to have roosters in my town. Any help or insights are greatly appreciated!

That’s what I feared. Any way to tell for sure aside from keeping “her/him” until they’re full grown? How soon do I need to rehome him before I start cracking eggs with baby chickens inside instead of yolks! Yikes

Definitely a rooster. He is probably going to be fertile pretty soon. You won't find chicks inside the egg, just Blastodiscs. Tiny white bullseye on the yolk. Fertilized eggs are completely edible.

Yes, as others have said, a definite rooster. And no need to fear fertilized eggs; as long as they have not been incubated, they will not have chicks in them.

Three weeks to hatch eggs.

All of my coops have a male in them so some of the eggs will be fertile. I put the eggs in the fridge and eat them.
