Ayam Cemani - one is obviously a male, but what is the other?

Hi! Ayam Cemani, 11 weeks of age. The left one is a cockerel, there's no doubt about that. He crows, and his comb/wattles are quite prominent. The one to the right, however, has me perplexed, and I have several like it. Out of about a dozen birds, 4 are very obviously male (and have been for a few weeks now), a couple are most likely female as they have barely noticeable combs, and the others are all like the bird to the right. No noticeable difference in saddle feathers yet between known cockerels and pullets, so I can't use that to determine sex either at this point.

What do you think it is?

That's what I thought, but was hoping for girls. That gives me 9 cockerels and 2 pullets LOL Thanks!

Well that's a bummer. But maybe you can find someone to exchange some AC cockerels for some pullets, if someone is in the opposite situation. With rare breeds like that cockerels are almost as valuable as pullets.
