We had purchased three unsexed A.C. chicks several weeks ago, but lost two to a rat snake over this weekend. We definitely knew the sex of both deceased chicks because they were at both ends of the most obvious pullet/cockerel spectrum. This one was always sort of in the middle of the two. S/he is at about 6 weeks now, but we're still really not sure at this point. My bf is convinced this is a roo, but the comb really hasn't grown much in the past two weeks. Any insight would be immensely appreciated since this is our first time with this breed.

UPDATE: Here's a photo from today. Little one turned out to be a hen, but her tail feathers are so long and her legs are so thick which has me still baffled.
Is she laying eggs? Sometimes you get a hen that looks like a roo (My friends actually named one of theirs Roo, but Roo lays eggs!) Beautiful bird. If she's not laying eggs already, she's definitely a cockerel though.
