This pretty peep has been at our local feed store for 2 weeks. I believe this is a hen. I was thinking around 10 weeks, but she is clucking. Any thoughts on age and gender? This bird makes a strange sound when our rooster crows.

Thankyou so much. She has not been handled at all. She's been making some crazy sounds that made the fat boy (our rooster) run from the barn to the house to see what he could see. Lol. She's in quarantine on our lanai.

I have no idea. I will inquire further. She has been there for 2 weeks. I feel bad I didn't grab her sooner.

Possible pendulous crop. This mornings exam yielded an impacted crop. I am so upset. I have to be away today. I set her up with acv, grit and some feed. I'll massage her when I get home. If I am unable to resolve it, and I'm skeptical that I will, ill have to get her to the vet. She does not appear malnourished and her poop looks like typical watery stress poo.
