Hi, im very new to all of this, but i have a drake just over 1 year old, I was given him a week ago by my bf family because it kept mating a modern game hen.
He was in the pen with one hen on their own for a could of days and everything was fine.
Ive just introduced some ducklings into the pond and the drake constantly goes to attack/ mate with them. I have only ever seen it try and mate the hen one but always goes to attack the ducklings. I have some chicks that will be put into the same area in the near future. Today i had to catch him and put him in a stable to give the ducklings a rest.
Should i get rid of him?
My idea was to get rid of him and get a new drake for the hen but my Bf reckons that all drakes are the same but im not convinced
any suggestions on what to do?? :/

Thankyou :)

yes sorry, im a newby haha
yeah i thought that, but i dont want it attacking anything else like it did at its original home, i think its either selling it or try tethering it near to the pond.
Thankyou for your reply :D
