Hatched out 1 white Aylesbury drake this year and only have Rouen colored hens to mate with him next spring. What color will the ducklings be? I know white ducks hide underlying color, and my Pekin/Rouen crosses get either mallard color or black bibbed, wondering if the Aylesbury's will be the same?

I wish I had more knowledge on this subject, but it does pose some interesting questions! Since Aylesbury ducks are not known for color aberrations, I'm inclined to think that their genetic contribution is going to be strictly white. I suspect that the Rouen genes may lend to some striking offspring! Rouens are the descendants of Mallards and there's a great deal of contrast in the Mallard coloration. I'd be really curious as to which body structure is predominant. The Aylesbury doesn't fly and yet the Mallard descended Rouen is a strong flying breed!
Because I have a pair of Aylesbury ducks...at least I think they're a pair...and 2 Rouen hens, I'm very interested in how this works out! Please keep us updated!
You have a beautiful Aylesbury drake!! Best of luck!
