Azure Hatching Eggs and Blue Quail Eggs?

I'm gonna bet they tinkered with the photos in Photoshop. Even their Crested Cream Legbar eggs look super blue, which I know isn't typical.

Unless they're some kind of blue egg breeding geniuses. Which, I guess is possible. Give it a shot if you have the money to spend.

Seems from the reading theyve put alot of resources into their program. Not saying they didnt tweak the color with photoshop and extra nice lighting and they probly only showed the best of the best but im on the same page of uve got the money to spend at the very least theyll produce some nice eggs.

i was reading their page and the very light blue chicken eggs come from an awesome swedish breed called the isbar. they took an blue isbar rooster and crossed it into something else. i will say those are some beautiful birds. the isbar goes for 29$ each unsexed chick on green fire. interesting breed

The isbars are also around here, two of my friends also fellow BYCers tried them and got a really Wide variety of egg colors. I know blue did indeed come up but one got AMs the other got legbars that produced prettier eggs and they each discontinued the isbars because they were flighter.

These are the blue eggs and standard Coturnix eggs I purchased from them. If I understand correctly she selectively bred her regular Coturnix overtime to get her blue eggs layers. The photo she shows on this page is the progression I believe.

Thanks for the picture! That is super awesome! Have they hatched yet? Was was the success rate on them? Did you happen to order any of the azure egg layers or just the quail? I will for sure be ordering the blue quail eggs from them soon!

I want to say it was right at 65%! A couple have started laying so far! I should have kept them separate because I can't tell them apart now. I just have quail, but I had a very positive experience. She packages really well and is super easy to deal with.
