Yup, they are selling them 16-17 dollars per hen.. Look like a leghorn mix... I am wondering if this is a mix bird, they are calling it a breed, but I am highly suspicious of it. A commercial operation selling for 16-17 per Point of Lay bird, isn't honestly that bad, but.. meh. I'v been selling my blue layers for years, unsexed, for 6.. They are claiming 295 eggs a year, that tells me they have some kind of mix going on similar to the co-op birds that are sold enmass.
At least I know my birds will have health on their side.
