This is not what roo's do! There are many roo's out there that don't attack humans. You were just defending yourself and are trying to make it right. Don't listen to the negative feedback here! If he pulls through, sound to me like he may need some lady companionship to relieve his tension. (He need's some lady lovin). If he still tries to be aggressive then I would put him out of his missery. You don't need that. I also don't take my birds to the vets. I used to work in a vet's office and saw chickens occationally. Honestly I am not sure their cases were taken seriously. The vets would pass it off to the "new vet" because they didn't want to be bothered with it. So I think you will basically be just donating to your clinic rather then getting the care your bird needs. Hope he pulls through for you. Good luck.
