I could have swore that I read somewhere that they don't fly very well. But my memory ain't what it used to be.

I can't believe it. That one, lone SG chick that has been my only Dorking born this year, drowned in the dog's water dish.
This is so sad. The poor hen sat on a whole clutch of eggs, one hatches and now it dies.

Here are pictures of one of the chicks that has just hatched today from a batch of colored eggs! Another one should be out shortly with more to follow! The other pictures are of our other Dorking chicks.
