These are my first BA chicks and they are so much fun I am finding it difficult to tear myself away and get housework done! This is their first brooder and we are making a bigger one this weekend as I know this is only good for maybe another 2 weeks, if that! These are to replace my 2 year old Isa browns that have become egg eaters and peck each other like crazy! I hope the Australorps are a less aggressive hen!

Isa browns are a red sex-link! Very prolific egg producer but my five have taken to pecking each other and their eggs! They free range all the time and have OS and feed and water so I am not sure what their issues are but I'm fed up!!

Stew pot ahoy? I had black sex links as my first chickens. They were awesome and friendly. Then they all went broody....I'm not even kidding! Ha! Thanks for clearing up ISA - now to find out what DH means!
