Hello! I have just joined backyardchickens, though have used the forums as a resource for a very long time! My name is Jewel, and my lil' family and I live outside of Portland, Oregon. We have 4 chickens that we got about a year ago, and we've really enjoyed the experience. Especially my 3 year old!

I've been prompted to finally create an account since we're experiencing something new with our hens, so I'll be heading over to create a post about that shortly. I can't wait to become a more active part of this community, thank you all for your assistance and expertise!
