babies and a broody

I have a batch of not quite 3 wk old chicks. I have a GLW pullet sitting on two golf balls now for a few weeks--- I can't get her out and poor girl apparently plans on sitting on the golf balls until they hatch

. can I put her in the brooder with the babies so that she can believe she hatched them??? Don't know what to do with her--- it is getting old---she needs to get on with life!!!

Three weeks is pretty big unless they are bantams.....

If you need to break her broodiness, seperate her and give her no nesting materials. For at least three days. Worked for me!
