Got the fancy mix of eggs from Stromberg’s. Received 12 got 9 to hatch. First hatching Guineas so the temperature was a little high for them. They hatched a day or two earlier then they should have. So I have some spray legs on five of them and a curly toe on one. One has fully recovered from it and the others are taped up. Only two were badly sprayed. But expect a full recovery for all of them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what colors I might have?

Congratulations on your hatch! That’s a great rate for any eggs but especially shipped eggs! Looks like you have a good handle on healing their little spraddle legs.

In your first pic, I see a Pearl gray at the most left position. Next to it is a lavender, I believe, then another lavender up above it. I haven’t had light lavender but keet pics I’ve seen are similar to lavender so that’s also a possibility. You have two lighter keets above that might also be one of several possibilities: buff dundotte? Porcelain? All of these keets with the wide center head stripe will be fully pearled. However you have one semipearled that I can see in that upper pic, lower right. It looks like royal purple but there are some other varieties (like bronze) where keets look similar to royal purple. In your first solo pic, that all over foxy brown keet looks like a slate to me. That’s one of my favorite colors - I’m attaching a pic of Starla my slate girl for fun. In her group pic, she’s next to a royal purple and a pied Pearl gray.

Buff dundotte has tan marking, blonde is likewise, but slightly darker. porcelain has more blue gray markings. Aren't the BD's the sex-linked color?

I don’t have a clue with Guinea. I just love them! I had grey before. Am owl took all of them two a week until they were all gone! At we thought it was a hawk, but they were way to big for a hawk. So one morning I was out in the barn and saw it take one right off the gate 10 feet from me. That owl was huge didn’t make sound. I was so sad I haven’t had them for years because of it.
