Babies are and adorable

Awww, looks like a cutie to me! Semipearled, blue but you don’t think he looks like a coral blue? Did something happen to his casque?
About half his flight feathers are a light gray. I will have to catch him with the real camera.

He is inbred with the huge nares and the deformed looking casque. This is just how they developed.

Wow! Didn’t know inbreeding could affect the casque like that. Still cute though 😉
The one above is a Coral Blue cock. You can see how much darker it is.

The one on the right is a Coral Blue cock.

By himself.

Inbreeding can bring out all kinds of hidden recessive traits.

Oh yes I can see the difference. Both are really lovely colors though! Perhaps your lighter colored cock is a light coral blue?
They used to list a Lite Blue which the keets do look slightly different than a Coral Blue. They have fewer dotting and are lighter colored than a Coral Blue.

As a keet this one looked like a Coral Blue keet. As an adult in good sunshine, he is lighter colored than a Coral Blue and very similar to a Sky Blue. Except for about half of his wing feathers having a light gray almost light brown tinge to them as well as a similar brownish gray tinge to the lower neck feathers.

Well, that's not ugly. Ok, so his casque looks more like a fedora than a helmet but the color is pretty, & bigger nares are useful in an environment with thinner air...
I think it was the Stromberg site when looking re @Egger4me , that I saw "Coral Blue (Sky Blue)" implying they're the same. Obviously from your pic here, they aren't. Maybe he just needs a good bath.😁 Nugget used to get a late spring bath every yr so I could get 1 picture showing how gorgeous he really was under all the dustbath shading.
