Momma chicken did a great job hatching and raising 2 Welsh Harlequin ducks. Was a great mother for about 8 weeks, then she quit. How she and the other chickens are attacking the baby ducks and the other ducks (1 year older) are chasing them also and Stanley thinks it's time into introduce sex to baby duck! What is going on????? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd say it's all about the pecking order and showing dominance. Idk if it will eventually stop because I've never raised them together. Maybe someone will be along shortly.

I kept the babies separated for 2 days till I had time to sit with them. Momma chicken and the crazy Easter Egger attacked again as did the other Black Asterlope. I put the small coop they were using in the garden next to the rest of the flock. They have a 6ft. chain link (put nice) fence between them. It's a small area for them to roam, but they can see everyone but not get attacked. We are moving soon and I found someone to take all my ducks. I was going to keep the babies, but that isn't happening now!
