Coop camera

I really like my camera from Amazon called GMK. It’s wifi, weatherproof, good connectivity, good picture. You can talk over it. It also has an alarm if so desired, and flashing lights. You can set it to have the light motion activated. It’s also only $30
Ooh that one looks nice! Does it record full time or only on motion?

You can record yes, I have mine set to record ten second videos when motion activated. But you can also open the app and manually record as well.

Here's the clip I promised. One problem is I can't get HD or better due to the distance to the router and sync module. Due to this and other reasons I wouldn't recommend Blink cameras, especially for any distance.

Oh thanks! I was/am considering blink so that helps

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve started this thread  but I just haven’t really had the opportunity to get the camera. I’m thinking about maybe getting it in the next couple weeks though. I really like this one you suggested @thistlewick after looking at all my options more closely. I’m just concerned about the WiFi part. My coop is quite a bit away from the house. Not that far away really, but maybe a bit much for WiFi. This might seem like a silly question, but is there any way I can text to see how far the WiFi goes before?
I’m going through the same thing right now. Going to get a camera for the run. Not sure which one. I took an iPad without cellular streaming a video out to the coop and the signal dropped within 10 ft of reaching it. I bought a mesh router to extend the signal, hooked it up, and did the same with the iPad. I was able to stream YouTube videos 30 ft beyond the coop. I hope this helps. Good luck!
