I am looking for a basic solar camera that I can put in the coop and run that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. While I do have great internet, the coop is actually too far away from the house to connect/get service, which is why I would prefer it have an SD card. I can change those out. . Coop has no electricity

Need:
-Runs 24/7
-Color
-Night Vision
- Prefer if it had SD capabilities. (Doesn't necessarily have to connect to a phone/app but that is ok, not a deal breaker)
-No subscriptions

I guess I am basically looking for something like a GoPro or Trail Cam. Unfortunately the GoPro has to be recharged and the trail cam is only pictures. I need something that can be mounted permanently where I don't have to change the battery. It also needs to be weatherproof. If a camera has extra bells and whistles, as I know in for some brands there's no getting around this, is not a deal breaker. I just won't/need to use any of those. Any ideas?

I use Arlo cameras and I know they come with a solar option. I have never used the solar option as I have electricity in the coop and bought a spare battery and charger, but I like the cameras and I know they have the solar option.

How far away? I've found Eufy cameras work at 100ft (and probably further), you can connect via app even when away from home, and they have solar options. Also there is no subscription service. I use Eufy for my door locks, video doorbell, battery cameras I can put anywhere (originally had one in my coop). You can set sensitivity and detection to record when there is movement, including human or non-human movement.

I also picked up a set of 4 Weilailife solar cameras and NVR for $100. I have one outside, 150 feet from the NVR and that operates just fine as well despite the distance, with both web interface and app support

Runs 24/7
By 'runs 24/7' did you mean is powered 24/7, or records 24/7. If you mean records 24/7 then that is not feasible with most solar powered cameras, since power consumption is low until they detect movement and start recording.
