Babies due Saturday! :D

I hope he's ok!!!... You've been through so much with the little guy... Hopefully he just needs to warm up and take some time to relax a little... Please keep us updated I know that I'm pretty attached to Loki already and he's not even my chick!
Aww. Thanks. :) He's just sleeping. Now really exciting. =P

So the book and the few symptoms I keep seeing, keep bringing me back to infectious bursal disease and epidemic tremors ---> keep in mind the book only tells you the main symptoms, at what age it's prevalent and what the disease effects.
I'm not at my cOmputrt ATM, so if you google them maybe it'll lead you closer to an answer....
(I'm by no means an avian specialist, I just have a book...lol)
I looked them up and neither of them sound quite right. (That goodness! They both sounds like nightmares!) I really, really appreciate you looking. :) SO far he's still alive. He just sleeps a lot. I'm trying to just give him space and let him rest.

No worries. I like that handbook, but it's not the most in depth.

It's like "raising chickens for dummies" ; which I didn't care for...it was all very 'worst case scenario' and it didn't do anything but make me more paranoid than I already am.

Loki didn't make it. I went to check on him and he was laying spread eagle on his belly. I talked to him and he peeped weakly, but couldn't even lift his head. :( I picked him up and he just hung loosely in my hand.

This was all he was capable of doing. I held him for a minute and asked my dad to take care of him. He was absolutely pitiful.

that is so heartbreaking... i really thought that he was going to pull through he seemed like a little trooper :( you did everything that you possibly could.. i don't think that you could have prevented this :(

I'm so sorry to hear that. RIP little guy.

Thanks guys. I don't know what was wrong. It doesn't seem to have been contagious. Thor is just as lively as ever. He is in my lap right right now, poor lonely guy.
I'll update you, if you want, when I graft him to my duck. None of her eggs have hatched yet, but it makes sense for her hatch to be delayed as her eggs were unattended too for a full night (long story, not her fault. She's been very diligent.) and they got very cold. I candled them, so I know they were still alive, they just may need those extra hours they didn't get, to hatch. Worst comes to worst, she'll just have Thor.

I have 6 eggs incubating and I can't wait! But one is the size of a dime and not sure it will hatch... But still exited!

I have a thread about that egg, so I hope you take a peak at it! Can't wait 'till they hatch!

They are all cornish games,my grandfathers, but I love hatching!

Yes, please keep us posted. Poor little guy. Can't you get him a chick buddy?
