Today a BYC member came to our county to pick up 8 WH ducklings so she and hubby came by to actually meet in person and those ducklings were just adorable It's so nice to be able to meet a member in person since we're all scattered all over the world. Now I want some WH.

I'd love to be able to meet other BYC members!

Welsh Harlequin are beautiful. I think all of my babies are beautifully marked, but Harley is just stunning.

Thanks for posting this! I was hoping for an updated look at Harley! She is beautiful... and so are the others. Cute little bunch you have there! My 7 WH's are really changing in their markings and feathers. I can actually tell almost all of them apart now. One is darker than any of them, and others are so much more silver. I just love how different they are starting to look. I'm gonna need to decide on names now! lol I'm giving it waaay too much thought. Mine are outside now in a temporary set-up. They seem so much happier, and my goodness their feathers really came in too! I'm gonna be gone most of the day today but I'll take a video and post it tomorrow. Oh- and I have mega fly problems already been on BYC trying to find the best way to combat it! I'm ordering a fly trap and some DE.

Yeah, we have the fly problem too... I noticed one of my older ducks (Peek) stalking and catching them yesterday. It was hilarious! She'd get really mad when she missed and do the "annoyed duck" quack.

I'm really loving their colors now that their feathers are coming in. Harley is going to be the prettiest, that's for sure. Pepper will be in close competition, though, with that beetle green highlight to her feathers. It does not at all come across in pictures or video yet, but it's SO pretty!

hahah hilarious! I was wondering why they weren't trying to eat them! I actually considered trying to swat a couple and feeding them to the ducks. Maybe let them acquire the taste, it may help give them motivation, and it would awesome if they would become fly hunters. lol

I bet Pepper will be gorgeous. Cayuga's are such pretty ducks. They were my second choice, and I was so tempted to do a mixed flock just so I could have a couple. If I do get more, Cayuga's will be my choice!

Just watched your latest video.... it is un-BE-LEEEVE-able how big they've gotten! So I guess mine's wings should be getting a little longer soon, since they are just a few days behind yours. They still seem to have those little stubs lol.

Their wings just ALL OF A SUDDEN grew. They went from nubs to full-size wings almost overnight.

Honestly, I'm glad to hear that, because I was beginning to think something was wrong! lol

Remember that commercial (or movie preview, or something) of the huge dinosaur with the little arms.... that's what I think of, every time they stretch! LMAO
