Sorry to be wearing ya'll out with questions but...I just went to give them some cool fresh water and noticed that my australorp is acting funny. She was laying there and stretching in a way I have never seen any of the chicks do. So I watched her for a little while. She keeps moving and stretching like she can't get comfortable. Think she might be one of the culprits?

Is she outside when she's doing this? Kinda sounds like mine when they're dust bathing.

I know who is laying the eggs. Ridgerunner is correct. My dear husband has been laying them and thinks it is funny that I look like an idiot now. Sooooo not happy with him.

Pretty sure it would be awfully cold at my house for a bit after something like that!

So glad the mystery is solved by Ridgerunner! I'd be mad too, but let it go and enjoy your NORMAL pullets.

But biophiliac is right. Let it go, enjoy your chickens... and plot your revenge!
