baby #4 looks really wet

Sometimes when they chicks hatch their "umbilical cord" will still be attached to the membrane in the shell. It will break off by itself. If the yolk sac hasn't been absorbed properly it's better too leave the chick in the incubator with the humidity up. Don't be tempted to take it out and don't fiddle with it. It can easily get infected. As long as the chick is lively it's fine. Just leave it in there until it's dry and lost the shell, then take it out and check if the navel's sealed properly.

yup ...went back in there to look and it had gotten free from the shell ...still peepin' up a storm, humidity is up 80% temp is holding at 99 so I'm gonna leave it alone, so 24hrs in the bator post hatch seems to work well.

Now leave it to dry up before you take it out. It will be fine in there for 24 hours. Hope it get's a little friend soon!
